All versions of this website since it’s initial conception in the year 2000.
- 2000 - No images page, based in HTML tables.
- 2001 - Macromedia Flash page, full of sounds and animations. Obviously it didn’t last too long.
- 2002-2010 - Back to the simple, table based layout. The problem was handling the increasing amount of content.
- 2010-2016 - Based on the Mediawiki CMS. It allowed the content to increase exponentially but it was very difficult to adjust to the increasing mobile phones navigation demmand.
- 2016-2026 - Based on the Drupal 8 CMS. It has a responsive layout engine that makes it compatible with screens of every size. All pages had to be migrated from the Mediawiki system and the paid theme was not perfect. Spent many weeks on this process until the site was finally released. While Drupal was demanding in terms of maintenance, this was the version of the website that last longer so far.
- 2026-now - No more PHP, databases or server side procecessing. The entire website content was converted to Markdown format and then compiled with Hugo to generate static plain HTML pages.
