What is it?

A hobby website made by me, an enthusiast and heavy user of mapping softwares.
I rely on them to work, to travel and to go outdoors.

Software listed

I will evaluate every software I can get my hands on.
Obviously I can't pay for everything on sale, so, if you are a developer and you would like to see your work on the list, please provide me access to a full version of it.
I don't evaluate cracked, pirated or illegal versions.

I don't accept any type of sponsorship from companies related to the GPS and mapping software here reviewed except for the material to be evaluated itself.

Softwares or devices that got this recognition are not the ones that have more features but the ones that:

• Outperform in their main functionality or purpose.
• Have an intuitive and responsive user interface.
• Provide well written help documents.
• Respect the customer and make a clear distinction in their distribution website about free/paid features and demo/trial conditions.
• Have a clear and non-abusive privacy policy.
• Don't share any user data or details by default.
• If the user generates any data or contents, allow him to export in interchangeable or open formats (GPX,KML,etc...) .
